A university in US wanted to host some eLearning courses on a learning management system. Access to these courses was to be provided from their website developed in WordPress. The client wanted registered users to the website to have direct access to the courses on the LMS using a single-sign-on.
We integrated the LMS with WordPress using APIs. We customized the LMS as per their website branding so that users feel they are taking the courses on their website.
Through a SSO, users were not required to login to the LMS again to take the courses. They can view the course through a single click on the website. We completed the entire setup in a week.
The client was happy with the SSO feature that saved a lot of sign-in headaches for the users.
A US-based global provider of water, hygiene, and energy technologies wanted to setup an add-on LMS for their clients, distributors, and channel partners. They wanted the LMS to be very simple and intuitive.
The customization requirements were a client-specific user interface which would give clients admin rights to manage their own courses, users, and reports.
Our client also wanted to schedule reports which could be generated and sent to the managers on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis.
We customized Effectus LMS to have a group-specific user interface. Though there was only one LMS in the background, users could see their own company logo and theme, based on their profile.
We created sub-admin roles for each domain; they could add/edit or suspend users and courses within their domain. They cannot however, view users and courses in other domains.
Managers could schedule customized reports weekly, monthly, or annually. They could choose the filters to get specific reports. Reports are sent to the registered email address as an Excel file attachment.
The customization options offered by Effectus got a positive response from the client.
An American pharmaceutical company was maintaining 3 applications to address all its training needs. Some of them were costly and some were complex to manage.
They wanted to have a single application which can meet all their requirements. They wanted completely customized features and a user-friendly interface.
Some of their specific requirements:
We conducted a workshop with their team to understand their unique requirements. We collected their detailed requirements and found out the pain points with the existing applications.
We then scoped each requirement and designed wireframes accordingly. We customized Effectus LMS completely to match the design features and requirements. Leaderboard and Gamification features were also customized.
As a result, all the features developed were dynamic and can be easily scaled up when more products are added to the LMS.
We completed the LMS setup in two months and received great responses on the simplicity of the LMS, from both users and admins.
